The Privacy Act Still Applies To The CAF
Did your direct supervisor share your COVID-19 diagnosis (or other diagnosis) with others? (need to know required)
Did they share your PRO B information with their friends and peers? (need to know required)
Did the CoC share the details of your PRO B Remedial Measure with those that do not need to know?
Did someone view your medical health records without a need to know requirement?
Did someone view your information in Monitor Mass without a need to know requirement?
REPORT THEM! - It is a simple process - download the DND 4050-E Privacy Breach form at the bottom of this page. There are three main regulations that govern the privacy of CAF members. The Privacy Act itself, as well as DAOD 1002-4 - Privacy Incident Management, and DAOD 1002-6 - Disclosure of Personal Information.
Levels of Security - Information
CAN PROTECTED B - Applies to information or assets that, if compromised, could cause serious injury to an individual, organization or government.
